Mark Hurwitz and Gin Creek is a two time nominee for Best Band by the Washington Blues Society Band. They’re known for maintaining one of the busiest performance schedules of any band in the Puget Sound region. They play a variety of blues styles, plus New Orleans r&b, soul, and roots rock, all with a strong rhythmic drive that packs the dance floor.

In addition to playing regularly at leading clubs and restaurants, the band has performed at many festivals and events, including Northwest Folklife, The Bite of Seattle, The Westport Blues Festival, The Gorge Blues and Brews Festival, The Sunbanks Music Festival, The Gray Skies Blues Festival, The Gig Harbor Rhythm and Blues Festival, and The Tacoma July 4th Freedom Festival.
